Meet our New Head Girl Team

Our Head Girl for this year is Jessica F, who will be assisted by Deputy Head Girls Jessica S and Lauren D.

All three girls began their tenure at the end of the last academic year, when they proudly represented the school at our 400th Anniversary celebrations at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.

Jessica delivered a reading in front of almost 1,500 fellow pupils, staff, parents, alumni and invited guests, while all three girls represented Merchant Taylors’ Girls School as our ambassadors throughout the event.

Over the coming year, they will perform a number of key roles, leading the student voice, working with senior staff to influence school policy, mentoring younger pupils and representing the Girls’ School at a number of formal events across the UK.

Bridget Ward, Head of Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School, said: “ Jessica has already made an excellent start to her role as Head Girl, supported admirably by both of her deputies. They are a dynamic and forward-thinking team who I am very much looking forward to working closely with throughout their tenure.”
